OnlineYellowPages.com
is a division of the Yellow Pages Online, Inc., OnlineYellowPages.com
has been serving the business-to-business community in the United States
since 1996. We have a flawless record for customer satisfaction:
Recently, questionable
and misleading telemarketing organizations, claiming to be
the “Online Yellow Pages”, have approached many consumers, advertisers
and business owners. After investigating these claims we have deduced
that many of them are from Canada and usually with offices within
proximity of the Canadian border, with mail drops in the United States.
Based upon phone calls, e-mails and faxes to our offices and the Better
Business Bureau, one entity that appears to be taking advantage of the
confusion caused by the similarity in our business names – which may be
either intentional or unintentional – but results in someone else trading
on our good business reputation may be THE
OYP GROUP out of Canada. According to callers they claim on the
phone to be “online yellow pages” however if you query them about their
company they will admit that they are the OYP Group and not associated
with our company. If you are contacted by the OYP Group and feel you
have been mislead you should immediately file a complaint directly with
the Better Business Bureau
http://BBB.org. The OYP Group is located at 334 Cornelia Street, #
379 Plattsburgh, NY 12901 1-866-207-5911
The Better Business Bureau
has reported to us that this company is actually located in Canada with
the above listed address as simply a mail drop. The majority of the
complaints received by the Bureau involves harassing faxes and phone
calls requesting payment for an unsolicited listing. Our company does
not send faxes nor do we make unsolicited calls demanding payment for
our services. While you may be threatened that failure to pay according
to their demands will result in a negative credit report, the Better
Business Bureau advises us that while they cannot guarantee that it
will not happen, the Better Business Bureau has never heard of a
company’s credit being damaged for failure to pay a bogus invoice. The
collection agencies employed by these companies are usually their own.
